The First Year with a Business Computer

This paper describes the reasons leading to the adoption of electronic data processing in the City Treasury at Norwich, a description of the job to be done and problems involved in the programs either completed or being prepared. Details of expected economics, the performance of the computer, the progress and mistakes made in the first year are also given.
