D. J. Fyfe *
Department of Mathematics, Woolwich Polytechnic, London, UK
The method of using cubic splines to solve second order boundary value problems described in an earlier paper, Fyfe (1969), is extended to fourth order equations with y''' missing in both the differential equations and the boundary conditions.
Received July 1969.
