Automatic frequency and Mikhailov locus plotting for systems with distributed lags: A new analogue computer technique

N. G. Meadows *

Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Portsmouth Polytechnic, Angelsea Road, Portsmouth, UK

A method is described whereby frequency response loci and Mikhailov stability curves can be displayed automatically for systems including distributed lags. By using a time-frequency transformation the use of an actual distributed lag unit is avoided.

Received August 1971.
