Flowchart Schemata and the Problem of Nomenclature
Computer Science Department, HeriotWatt University, 79 Grassmarket, Edinburgh, UK
The problem of nomenclature (different names being used to refer to the same object or idea, and the same name being used to refer to different objects and ideas) plaques many areas of Computer Science. The theory of flowchart schemata is no exception to this. This paper attempts to clarify some of the issues concerned with reducibility and structuredness in flowchart schemata.
