A Review of Methods for Measuring and Describing Users' Attitudes as an Essential Constituent of Systems Analysis and Design
Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computing, Faculty of Technology, Plymouth Polytechnic, Drake Circus, Plymouth, PL4 8AA, UK
The success, or otherwise, of a computer system implementation can frequently depend on the attitude of users. The theory of the nature and organisation of attitudes is discussed, it is shown that attitudes are measurable, and techniques by which the systems analyst can elicit, measure and analyse the attitudes of users are identified.
